NEW 4Sync 1.0.5 is finally here
Great news! The new version of 4Sync app is finally available for download!
Newly released 4Sync v.1.0.5 has a set of modifications and upgrades. New options were added to: initial set up process, customized folder synchronization. Learn more about new additions bellow
In 4Sync Preferences you can see different sections:
Account
Here you can track how much free storage space you have in your 4sync account and how much storage is being used. You can also check the version of 4sync you’re using, check the current state of your files and look through your synchronization history.
If you use Advanced type of installation:
- You can chose 4Sync folder location
- Customized sync will allow you to select account folders to synchronize on this computer
You can chose, which folders you want to synchronize, and which folders you don’t want to sync. Folder synchronization list will be updated according to your changes.
Note: The folders, which are not synchronized, will be deleted from your computer, however, you can still access these folders via your web account.
You also may choose these options while installing 4Sync app.
General
Here you can choose these general settings:
- Show System Tray hint when an event occurs
- Run 4Sync when Windows starts
- Open 4Sync Folder at startup
Bandwidth
Here you may limit or maximize your upload or download speed.
Proxy
If you need to change proxy settings you can do that within the 4Sync app.
About
Here you can read general information about 4Sync and find useful links, upgrade your account to premium and check for available updates.
Also in the new 4Sync 1.0.5 version users can:
-Increase upload and download speed and uploading quality.
– Enjoy SSL support. This feature is available for Premium users
– Choose which folders to synchronize

Hi,
I just created an account and installed 4sync.
However, when starting the software I’m unable to login because I’m working behind a firewall.
I looked in the install directory, I looked in the registry, no sign of where the proxy settings coul d be.
So how does a first time user set proxy settings to be able to start/login to 4sync?

It’s impossible to log in with no Internet connection.
But anyway you can change your proxy:
1. Go to the Preferences (right-ckick on the 4sync icon in your system tray)
2. Choose Proxy
3. Change it
4. And than restart your 4Sync account
